Oil rebounds after massive drop
03/11/2016 14:56
Crude oil futures rose during noon trade in the domestic market on Thursday after sinking almost 3 per cent in the previous session when a record stockpile built in the US threatened to exacerbate concerns of a global supply glut.
The EIA said that US crude oil inventories rose by 14.4 million barrels last week as imports surged the most in almost two decades, crude output climbed for a third straight week and refineries cut output.
Uncertainty over the implementation of an OPEC output deal and jitters ahead of the US Presidential elections kept trading sentiment volatile.
