Spot  silver  prices  declined  by  2.6  percent  last  week  to  close  at  $19.1 per ounce in line with fall in gold prices and weakness in Nickel prices. Profit  booking  at  higher  levels  also  exerted downside  pressure  on silver. On the MCX, silver prices declined by 2.3 percent to close at Rs.45726 per kg.
