Cardamom futures up 0.47% on uptick in demand 28/07/2016 11:28
Cardamom futures were trading higher during the morning trade in the domestic market on Thursday as investors widened their bets in the agri-commodity amid a pickup in physical demand for Cardamom in the domestic spot market. Further, restricted supplies amid lower physical arrivals from the major Cardamom producing belts in the country also exerted upward pressure on domestic Cardamom prices. At the MCX, Cardamom futures for August 2016 contract is trading at Rs 941 per kg, up by 0.47 per cent

Silver futures were trading higher during the morning trade in the domestic market on Thursday as investors and speculators indulged in widening their positions tracking weakness in global equities and dollar which influenced the demand for the metal as a store of value. Oil shrugs off rise in US inventories 28/07/2016 10:25
Crude oil futures were trading higher during morning trade in the domestic market on Thursday as traders cast aside a maiden increase in US storage levels in ten weeks, which threatened to exacerbate a global supply glut. The EIA said that US crude oil supplies rose by 1.7 million barrels to 521.1 million barrels in the week ended July 22, 2016. Stockpiles at Cushing, the biggest US oil storage hub, increased 1.1 million barrels last week. Total US crude production rose by 21,000 barrels to 8.515 million barrels per day last week. At the MCX, crude oil futures for August 2016 contract is trading at Rs 2,838 per barrel, up by 0.25 per cent

Crude oil futures closed lower in the domestic market on Wednesday after U.S. government data revealed the first weekly climb in domestic-crude inventories in 10 weeks, along with a surprise increase in gasoline stockpiles and a rise in total crude production. The worry is that the swelling glut of gasoline will prompt refiners to buy less crude oil going forward, causing the global glut of crude to linger longer and put prices under pressure.
